Authorites Seeking Information About Batteries Stolen From Local Non-Profit

Missoula County deputies are attempting to track down the person(s) responsible for stealing two $250 batteries from a bus parked outside a local church.

The crime occurred on the grounds of Elevate Church, near the junction of Blue Mountain Road and Highway 93. The time when the crime occurred is uncertain, but the missing report was filed on Sunday, April 6.

The thieves damaged the bus while removing the batteries (picture above).

The bus was used for transportation by a non-profit group, anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crimestoppers at 721-4444
