American Red Cross volunteers were busy over the weekend helping Missoula residents in two ways following flooding in some parts of the city. On Saturday, volunteers went to areas of Missoula where there had been flooding and while the floodwaters had receded people are busy pumping out water from beneath their homes and cleaning up around their property. Red Cross volunteers brought cleanup kits and family kits with them and had distributed 46 of them by day’s end. Bleach, water, snacks and other relief items were also distributed. Volunteers continued to support the community recovery efforts on Sunday.
