I spoke with ASUM President Jen Gursky on Monday about the Board of Regents decision to increase tuition at the University of Montana and Montana State University by 5% each year for the next two years for a total increase of 10%. Gursky says even though the average increase is only about $250 per year per student, when added to four years of student loans, with interest, the numbers really add up.
