A New Look At Old History

Just when you think all that could be written about George Armstrong Custer and the 7^th Cavalry has been written, somebody comes up with something new. Montana Historical Society Cultural Records Assistant Shannon Vihlene will present "Custers' Last Drag", an examination of tobacco use among the 7^th  cavalry during the 19^th  Century". The Society's Tom Cook says this is a new look at old history that Vihlene did for her master’s thesis.

The presentation will be on Thursday, April 14, at 6:30 in the evening at the Historical Society’s auditorium.
