A new economy is developing on our National Forests. A restoration program means new jobs in Montana. There's a workshop starting tomorrow  in Seeley Lake to help people and companies win those positions. Most of the work will be by contract in parts of the Lolo, Helena and Flathead National Forests. Erin Zwiener, with the Blackfoot Challenge, describes potential projects which will take place on private and public land.

The 2 day workshop is free, and provides background and tips on how to present winning bids. Zwiener says some of the projects could last several years. The first round of contacts is expected to be up for bid in the coming months.
