$50,000 Bail for Man Who Spit on and Slugged Casino Employee
25 year-old Jordan Nall didn’t understand why he was handcuffed and appearing via video in Missoula Justice Court from the county jail.
Nall told Judge Landee Holloway all he did was ‘steal some candy and pretzels and then got my ass kicked’.
Deputy County Attorney Jordan Kilby asked Judge Holloway to hold Nall on $50,000 bail.
“While he maintains that his theft was minor, the allegations in this case are that when the employee of the (One-Eyed Jack’s) casino followed him so that she could take a photo and trespass him, he turned around and punched her in the head,” Kilby said. “She had a severe head trauma. She went to the E.R. and she is still having trouble with her vision. So his actions, though he acts as if they were minor, are actually quite serious to the victim.”
Kilby said both the defendant and the victim were taken to the same emergency room
“He was taken to the same emergency room because he spit in her eye and she had to be tested for hepatitis,” she said. “While at the emergency room he continued to make threats against her. He knows where she lives, so we’re going to ask for $50,000 bail along with standard conditions should he be released, including absolutely no contact with the victim.”
Nall was charged with felony robbery, and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
The victim was in the courtroom accompanied by one of the Missoula County Attorney’s Crime Victim Advocates.
