$2500 Reward For Montana Man Wanted By The FBI

The FBI if offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the capture of a Montana man, 44 year-old Jason Mehl, whose last known address was in Helena.

Spokesperson Sandra Yi Barker said Mehl is wanted on several felony drug charges.

“He is wanted for his alleged involvement in heroin trafficking in Montana and Utah,” Barker said. “A federal arrest warrant was issued for Mehl in Missoula on September 21^st. We’re hoping the reward will motivate someone to come forward, because we do believe that somebody knows this man and somebody has seen him.”

Barker provides a description of the suspect.

“He’s described as being between 5’9” and 5’ 10”, he has brown hair or he may be bald and wear his facial hair in a full beard with a mustache, and he weighs about 180 pounds,” she said. “We have a tip-line for this specific case, so please call the FBI in Salt Lake City’s tip-line at 801-579-6189.”
