The House and Senate will vote early this  week on the state budget bill. Assuming that republican majorities in both bodies will approve the measure, it will head to Governor Brian Schweitzer, who has vowed to veto it. The house passed, on second reading, a bill to reduce the business equipment tax, to the tune of over $65 million, over the next four years, much to the dismay of representative Jon Sesso.

But Representative Derek Skees says the business equipment tax should be eliminated entirely.
