Smoke from several fires is settling into the Bitterroot and Missoula Valleys. The Saddle Mountain complex of fires has mushroomed over 17,000 acres in just the last few days. The National Weather Service reported over 2000 lightning strikes in western Montana Wednesday and Wednesday night, and with lightning, comes the risk of wildfire.
