Medical Issue Caused Crash Near Stevensville
Authorities say a 61-year-old man suffered a medical condition that caused him to crash his SUV northwest of Stevensville. Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Ken Breidenbach says William James Fears was driving 3 mph or less on Stevensville Cutoff Road when he crashed sometime Friday morning. The vehicle landed upside down on a grassy patch right on the edge of the Bitterroot River.
