This past weekend, the mega-successful HBO drama Succession cleaned up at the Emmys. The wildly popular show was nominated a whopping 75 times and won a staggering 19 times. Some of the Emmys brought home were Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing For a Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Kieran Culkin), Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (Sarah Snook), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Matthew Macfadyen)

Ok I think you get the picture... Succession ruled the Emmys.

By the way, if you haven't watched the show yet, what are you waiting for? It's an all-time show that belongs in the pantheon of television history. It may be my personal favorite of all time, too... which is saying something, because I've watched a lot of television in my days.

Since I think about Succession so much, I whipped up the question "If Succession characters moved to Montana, where would they live?" Here's what I came up with...

Logan Roy - Big Sky

The patriarch of the Roy family would not only move to Big Sky, but he would purchase the entire town, ski resort, mountain... heck, come to think of it, he might just purchase the entire state. Big Sky would be the most likely city for Logan to move to. He'd buy the biggest mansion, play golf and probably shoot elk in his front yard, or something diabolical like that.

SPOILER ALERT... IF YOU ARE NOT CAUGHT UP ON SUCCESSION DON'T READ KENDALL'S ENTRY

After Kendall loses the company, again, I picture the eldest boy going off the grid. He practically loses everything by the end of the show, so I see him going to the remote town of Lincoln to get away from it all and live out the rest of his sad existence in solitude.

Shiv Roy - Missoula

Shiv has the most Missoula out of the rest of the Roy family. She's more liberal than her counterparts. She would get by in Missoula just fine.

Roman Roy - Butte

First, I don't think Roman could survive in Butte. The fine folks of Butte would eat that trust fund manchild alive. BUT Roman also has the "Butte VS Everybody vibe." He loves telling people to **** off, among other grossly explicit things I can't type here.

Cousin Greg - Billings

Cousin Greg began the show as a peasant like the rest of us. He was working at an amusement park puking into a mascot's head. He's as close to blue-collar as anyone in the Roy clan. Billings is a blue-collar city in Montana. Let Greg the Egg come back to regular life in Billings.

Connor Roy - Bozeman

Connor is the black sheep of the bunch. He's the half-sibling who doesn't get involved with the rest of the Roys' affairs. Bozeman is the black sheep, in that it's now considered Bozeman, California or Bozeangeles. Plus, can't you see Connor buying a large sanctuary outside of Bozeman?

Tom Wambsgams - Whitefish

Tom wants to live his original life as a Minnesotan. Let the guy move to a cabin on the lake and just relax. He's done enough damage.
