Red Robin Tip A Cop Day Saturday in Missoula [AUDIO]

Saturday from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M., Red Robin in Missoula’s Southgate Mall will be hosting the annual ‘Tip-a-Cop Day.
The Red Robin “Tip-A-Cop” is an official Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign fundraising event.
Law enforcement officers from the Missoula Police Department and the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office will volunteer their time as “Celebrity Waiters” along with Red Robin wait staff to interact with a collect tips at the Red Robin Restaurant to support Special Olympics Montana.
Truman Tolson with the Missoula Police Department says Chief Mark Muir will be one of the ‘celebrity servers’ sometime during the event, and there will be representatives from the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department and Special Olympics athletes, as well.
Special Olympics Montana provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. By participating in sports, physical fitness and healthcare education programs, Special Olympics Montana athletes increase self-confidence and social skills, improve physical and motor skills, and have better success in leading more productive and independent lives.
It is events like “Tip-A-Cop” that help us provide these programs at no cost to the athletes or their families.
