At a little after 12 p.m. Friday afternoon, Missoula police officers responded to a report of a 10-year-old student that had been injured at school.

Officers responded in the 2600 block of Briggs Street.

The injury is said to have occurred earlier Friday morning. Investigators are on scene collecting interviews and attempting to determine what happened.

The student is currently being treated at a local hospital where his parents are also speaking to officers.
