Kids and adults now have more opportunities for fun and fitness with the grand opening of the new Sports and Wellness Center inside the City Life Center in Missoula.

The Sports and Wellness Center offers youth sports and open gym, adult sports and open gym, adult fitness classes like yoga, Zumba and strength and conditioning, pre-school programs, pickleball and youth indoor tennis. Throughout the month of January, open gyms, open pickleball, pre-school playtime and adult fitness classes are free for your first visit.

Recreation specialist Ryan Yearous says Parks and Recreation has contracted with City Life to manage the center’s gym as an independent operation. Program fees and revenue from the gym go directly to Parks and Recreation and are not affiliated with City Life or its mission. No membership is required to participate in Sports and Wellness Center programs. Share The Fun Youth Recreation Grants are available for low-income families. Most of the classes and events are free through January 31.
