A federal judge has sentenced an Illinois man to 15 years in prison after he was arrested in Idaho with a vehicle and dozens of firearms stolen in Montana. U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge in Pocatello sentenced 29-year-old Korie L. Clemens of West Peoria, Ill., Monday to a charge of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Clemens was arrested at a Rupert, Idaho, hotel in May 2010. Prosecutors say seven firearms were in the vehicle, and 16 more firearms were in his hotel room. Sheriff Leo Dutton of Montana's Lewis and Clark County said then that the weapons were stolen from a house near Augusta, and the pickup truck was stolen from Craig.

Clemens is considered an armed career offender of three prior convictions for violent crimes.
