Another line of thunderstorms is due to impact western Montana Thursday afternoon and evening.

Meteorologist Genki Kino says the National Weather Service has issued a list of possible threats and impacts from the storms that may affect the area.

"These thunderstorms are capable of producing heavy rain, which could cause some debris flow and flash flooding, and of course, we can't forget about the lightning that may accompany these storms," Kino said. "The recently burned areas don't have enough vegetation to hold back the heavy rain, and debris could quickly block roads or damage property. Residents in those areas should watch the weather carefully."

Kino said the thunderstorms could continue through Thursday night and into Friday.
