An assessment of invasive species management says a lack of funding is a big challenge.

According to the Helena Independent Record, the group hopes to have a plan by the end of this year.

The report also focuses on early detection and a rapid response, and coming up with a system to prioritize and offer incentives to private landowners if they join the crusade.
