Grizzly Bear Part Registration
The senate has approved legislation getting rid of a requirement that grizzly bear parts be registered with fish, wildlife, and parks before they are sold.
Senator Art Wittich of Bozeman says the bill would make Montana's reporting requirements consistent with federal law.
Montanans would still have to comply with federal reporting requirements. Nobody spoke in opposition of the bill, and it passed its second reading on a vote of 45 to four.
