The documentary A Carousel for Missoula: A promise made is a promise kept, about the making of the Carousel and Dragon Hollow, plus a look at the Carousel’s first 15 years, will premiere on Saturday December 3rd at 6:30pm, in Room 123, of the Gallagher Business Building on the University of Montana campus. Seating will be limited.

Through interviews captured for the documentary, many of the volunteers who helped during the Carousel’s construction and who remain active today tell why they were involved and how that involvement has affected their lives. Community leaders share how they are inspired by the stories of the Carousel and Dragon Hollow. The documentary also includes photographs taken while the Carousel and Play-area were being built. The progression of Caras Park from a dumping ground to the home of A Carousel for Missoula and Dragon Hollow Play-area speaks volumes about the positive progress Missoula has made in taking advantage of its most beautiful asset ~ the Clark Fork River.

The Documentary will be shown on MCAT’s channel 7 on December  6th at 8pm, and on the  7th at 6pm.
