2 Vehicles Hit, Kill Moose On U.S. 93 Near Missoula
The Montana Highway Patrol says two vehicles struck and killed a bull moose on U.S. Highway 93 south of Missoula.
Trooper Andrew Novak says a woman driving a car hit the moose at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday. A few moments later, a pickup truck struck the animal as it lay injured in the road.
Novak says the woman suffered some short-term memory loss after the accident, and her car had to be towed.
The two people in the pickup were uninjured.
