Woman is Arrested for Possessing Meth at the Missoula Jail

At around 3:15 on Tuesday, Missoula Police initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of South 2^nd Street West and Russell Street. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“The vehicle was occupied by two females,” Welsh said. “One of them was identified as 24-year-old D’Anja Charlo. Charlo was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and she was transported to the Missoula County Jail. During the booking process, she was found to be in possession of a substance that was later determined to be methamphetamine.”

According to Welsh, Charlo is being held for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and for an outstanding warrant.
