As many people know, I have been puzzled for days over the recent investigation by the Department of Justice into Missoula county. I recently posted my suspicions as to why the DoJ is here in the first place.  Up until now I have not heard word from anyone who has even claimed to have contacted the DoJ to ask for an investigation. While in the studio this morning a woman, who would like to be called Lee, contacted me to tell me her story. She makes the claim that our County Attorney said that her abuser had "just cause." I have no idea if this story is credible, all I can say is that the lady's story at least seemed heartfelt in her conversation with me. Lee claims to have contacted the Department of Justice many times over the last three years and says her experience is not unique. If there is actual discrimination going on in Missoula, then an investigation by the Department of Justice Civil Rights Unit makes sense. I am eager to here from readers and listeners if this story rings true to you. I recorded my conversation with Lee (with her consent of course) and you can listen to it here:

If you have contacted the Department of Justice we would love to hear your story.
