Winter Weather Advisories Continue Across Western Montana
A winter weather advisory continues to cover western Montana as the weekend approaches.
The National Weather Service reported the advisory will remain in effect until noon on Saturday, December 19.
NBC Montana reports that a trace to three inches of snow will fall in the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys, with scattered freezing rain.
Two to five inches of snow were expected in the Butte, Polson and Kalispell areas, with four to eight inches falling in the mountains.
Lookout Pass is under a winter storm warning with up to 10 inches of snow expected.
