USA! USA! America Wins Little League World Series

Nick Pratto, the pitcher who struck out 10 Montana batters to get his Huntington Beach, California team into the Little League World Series title game…came through with a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the final inning to lift his West squad to a 2 to 1 win over Japan.

The California Little Leaguers who towered over their Japanese counterparts were

hard-put by an excellent defense, but loaded the bases for Pratto’s heroics.
