UM Journalism Team Wins Fox News Award [VIDEO]

A documentary on wolves has earned two University of Montana Journalism students and their instructor $20,000 in this year’s “Fox News College Challenge.”

Alexandra Schwer and Kyle Schmauch appeared on Friday’s “Fox and Friends” program to receive their checks and explain their award-winning project. With them was Professor Ray Ekness, their advisor on the film, who accepted a check for the University of Montana School of Journalism.

The two students are also eligible for a summer internship at Fox News.
