Two ‘Persons of Interest’ Arrested In Idaho Over Missoula Stabbings
The Missoula Police Department issued the following press release late Tuesday afternoon, December 22.
Two people who have been identified as persons of interest in the stabbing and death investigation in Missoula on December 21, 2015, have been arrested on unrelated charges.
In a cooperative multi-agency investigation, the Missoula Police Department and Coeur d’ Alene Police Department partnered with three US Marshall Violence Crime Task Forces from Montana, Idaho and Washington to identify, locate and apprehend the two subjects.
Both subjects are in custody in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. One is being held for violation of pre-trial supervision and the other being held for a conditional release violation. The Missoula Police Department will not identify these subjects at this time, as they were arrested by another law enforcement agency.
The stabbing victim at the Super 8 Motel has been identified by the Missoula County Coroner as 56 year-old Lonette Keehner.
The Missoula Police Department is continuing the investigation in Missoula and Coeur d’Alene and neither subject has been charged with any offense related to the Missoula stabbing and homicide. There is no evidence that there are other suspects related to this that are threat to the Missoula Community
