On September 30, Jamie Tripp will become the Dillon District Ranger on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Tripp is a Montana native with degrees in Business and Forestry from the University of Montana. She began her Forest Service career on a seasonal fire crew and then worked on fire and fuels management at the Flathead National Forest. She also has been Pacific Southwest Regions Fuels Program Manager. Other career features were Eldorado National Forest District Ranger and Forest Fire Management Officer on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest Supervisor Cheri Ford made the announcement September 5th and said, "Jamie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit the forest as well as continue to build great working relationships with our many publics."
