Trapper Peak – Above the Fog
With all the freezing fog the Bitterroot Valley and much of Western Montana has endured the past few days, we thought a nice photo of what you can see above the fog would be good. And what better scene than an early morning, moody photo of the iconic Bitterroot mountain - Trapper Peak. The photo, taken at sunrise January 9th, reminds us of why we love this place - with its beauty and changing moods in any season.
By the way, this is a good time to remind photographers that the Ernst Peterson Photograph Montana contest is back. The Ravalli County Museum is accepting entries this week. Check their website for more information.
