Attention; those who toss Twinkies, hurl Ho-Ho’s or dish Ding Dongs after each touchdown at Grizzly football games.

As you no doubt have heard, the University of Montana has instituted a new one-bag per person policy at Washington-Grizzly stadium, so those who were used to hauling grocery bags full of treats to toss after touchdowns will be forced to economize.

According to the UM website, the official Griz bags are 12 inches by 12 inches by six inches, or you may bring one (that’s just one) clear one-gallon zip-lock bag, (pictured above).

A small clutch purse may also be permitted.

So, how many Twinkies, Ding Dongs or Ho-Ho’s can you safely transport in a one gallon bag, or heaven forbid, a clutch purse?

Griz fans will have to be more economical and strategic when tossing their Twinkies after each touchdown, which may be a challenge since the Griz look to have a potent offense this year.

I trust that clever and resourceful fans will find a way to celebrate each touchdown in a way that will maintain security and safety for all in the stadium.

Good luck…and go Griz!
