After Missoula was hit with record snowfall this week, my car and I were not prepared for the road ahead. Fortunately, we live in a town with lots of people who are willing to lend a helping hand.

It's been an unusually dry December, but weather experts say this week's snowfall is just a preview of what's in store for Western Montana this winter.
