Walking Bridge

According to Jesse Ramos, the Reserve pedestrian bridge was paid for with TIF funding, or Tax Increment Financing. The TIF grand total for development in Urban Renewal District III comes out to roughly $13 million.

The jigsaw puzzle that is the elevated footbridge over South Reserve Street continues to take shape connecting the walking and biking trail from Lolo to Missoula.

It rises.....the $5 million walking bridge that will help connect biking and walking trails from Missoula to Hamilton is almost in place over South Reserve, just off Brooks.

Efforts continue to prepare for the placement of a walking bridge that would span South Reserve Street so that pedestrians and bicyclists will no longer have to cross the sometimes perilous street.
