The Wye

There were tense moments on I-90 just after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday as a semi truck and a pickup truck were involved in a road rage incident that began at the Wye just and finally ended up 18 miles later near Turah.

A small, single engine plane made an emergency landing in a field near the Wye on Friday morning.

Missoula Rural Fire crews were called out to a small grass fire in the Wye-93 development  at 7200 Highway 10 West early on Tuesday afternoon.

A bomb threat was called in to the Flying J Truck Stop at the Wye on Monday night. Sergeant Jeremiah Peterson with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office said the call came in to 9-1-1 at 7:40 p.m..

Missoula authorities are investigating the theft of mail and the tampering of checks that were cashed at local businesses that occurred on May 19 near the Wye, just west of Missoula.

A semi-truck collided with a Subaru station wagon headed west on I-90 early Thursday afternoon, that led to the car crossing into the eastbound lane, rolling the vehicle.
