Sex Sting

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Montana has announced the end of a lengthy investigation that resulted in 21 convictions of men involved in an online forum created by a Polson man that allowed members to exchange child pornography.

Just before Christmas of 2013, seven individuals were caught in a sex sting operation conducted by several law enforcement agencies, including the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

A 37-year-old man has been sentenced to five years in prison for sexual abuse of children.

A 32 year-old Missoula man was arrested Tuesday after attempting to have sexual contact with a 15 year-old girl, and was placed in jail on $200,000 bond.
