School Buses

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Missoula County Public Schools Board of Trustees on Tuesday evening, one of the topics to be discussed will be the retrofitting of all Beach Transportation school buses with seat belts.

Starting Monday, August 28, Beach Transportation will begin its 77th year of service picking up and dropping off over 4,000 students to school every day.

School starts today in many western Montana communities. School buses, crosswalks and school zones will be crowded, and area law enforcement will be watching closely to make sure drivers are paying attention.

Yes..it's only August, but the first day of school is less than a month away.

For more than 70 years, Missoula area students have been served by Beach Transportation school buses, and Wednesday, August 28, marks the beginning of another school year of service.
