Pope Francis gave a historic address today when he spoke before a rare joint session of Congress on Capitol Hill Thursday morning. His speech (full text below) touched on numerous issues that have been heavily debated in Washington — climate change, the death penalty, religious freedom, immigration and more — but he focused often on the current refugee crisis in Europe.
