An extremely unfortunate end to the saga of the Billings Moose!

A jury in a coroner's inquest on Friday cleared a Missoula police officer after a fatal shooting that occurred last year at the victim's home.

They had spent enough time hanging around the Rattlesnake Recreation area and thought a trip downtown might be a good idea, but for this mother moose and her calf, it proved to be just too much human contact.

Tiffanie Rae Pierce allocuted to two crimes during a change of plea hearing yesterday in which two people were murdered and their bodies dismembered. She will get two life terms in prison.
