Clark Fork Could Calm A Bit Over The Next Few Days
After several days of heavy rain, The Clark Fork river overflowed it's banks in Western Montana causing flooding problems in low-lying areas. However, according to Corby Nickerson with The National Weather service in Missoula, the Clark Fork will be calming a bit over the next few days.

300 Roundup Residents Cut Off Due To Flooding
Authorities say 300 Roundup residents are cut off after record level flooding washed out part of a road.
Roundup Emergency Official Jeff Gates said Thursday the families cut off are being supplied by boat until the road can be repaired.

Governor Asks President To Declare State Disaster
Gov. Brian Schweitzer is asking President Barack Obama to declare a major disaster for Montana due to flooding.
Schweitzer sent his request Wednesday, saying the size and severity of the flooding requires a response beyond the capabilities of state and local governments.
