Missoula Rural Fire responded to an out of control slash burn on Tuesday afternoon in the Grant Creek area. The fire was quickly brought under control with no injuries.
Just after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Missoula Rural Fire was called out to a fight a wildland fire in the 11,000 block of Grant Creek Road, after a slash burn got away from a local homeowner.
Crews from Missoula Rural and Missoula City Fire responded late Monday afternoon to a fire inside the bag houses at Roseburg Forest Products on Raser Drive.
Missoula Rural Firefighters responded to a house fire at about 7:30 Tuesday night across from Community Medical Center, just blocks from the main fire station on South Avenue.
It was confirmed on Monday morning that the Lost Mine Loop fire burning in the Upper Miller Creek area was caused by the exhaust from a hot chain saw on private property early Sunday afternoon.
