Firefighting officials have combined three smaller fires that are actually burning towards each other into one new complex, according to Fire Information Officer Kate Jerman.

The Lolo Creek Fire has caused the Missoula County Sheriff's Office to issue an Evacuation Warning from Lolo Hot Springs to the Idaho border. Heavy smoke poured into the Missoula Valley on Sunday.

The Lolo Creek Fire that was reported late Saturday afternoon has resulted in an Evacuation Warning from Lolo Hot Springs to the Idaho Border along Highway 12.

Two of our family friends own a home just off Highway 12 near Lolo, just one of 140 more homes that have been put on evacuation notice due to the advance of the Lolo Peak Fire.

A wide variety of agencies are presenting a Lolo community wildfire preparedness meeting on Tuesday,July 15 at the Lolo Community Center.

Residents in the areas affected by last summer's Lolo Creek fire complex were advised  by fire and sheriff's office personnel on Tuesday afternoon to prepare for possible flooding this spring.
