What an exciting four days it will be! The Special Olympics Montana 2016 Summer Games are set to kick off Tuesday, May 17th and will wrap up on Friday, May 20th. All of the competitions will take place in Missoula including competitions like kayaking, cycling, track and field, equestrian events, aquatic events, even golf events...

Senior Honor Night is June 4th this year. The event is at The Hub Family Entertainment Center and goes from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Volunteer Sue Orr talked about all the fun things students will be doing and the types of prizes they can win.

The state summer games for Special Olympics Montana will be coming to Missoula this summer.

Traveling is rarely easy for parents. Giving the children something to do during the trip is absolutely key, but it's not always an easy task. For example, my daughter can't read or color during car trips because she gets car sick. My son can't read (because he's 3) and we don't want the kids vegetating on television for eight hours (which would also induce car sickness). So what's a parent to do?

An experiment in which I introduce my kids to some of my favorite boardgames and find out which ones they like the best.
