Evacuees Return

Over the weekend, many of the evacuees of the Lolo Peak Fire were allowed to return home, according to the Missoula County and Ravalli County Sheriff's offices.

Ravalli County residents who had been evacuated due to the Lolo Peak Fire have all been allowed to return home, according to a very happy and relieved Sheriff Steve Holton.

Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton released the information Thursday night that the evacuated area from Tie Chute Lane north to West County Line Road has been moved back into an Evacuation Warning status,

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office has allowed a partial return home for some Lolo Peak Fire evacuees.
