Dead Body Found

Missoula police report that an elderly man was found dead early Thursday morning at the Spruce Street Mountain Line Transfer Station.

A dead body was found Monday morning in the 3500 block of Brooks Street. Police and Sheriff's Officers are investigating.

A body was found mid morning on Monday just off a main thoroughfare in the city, according to Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh.

A bomb threat scrawled on a bathroom stall at Missoula's Sentinel High School was investigated by authorities, and found to contain no credible threat. School went on as scheduled on Wednesday.

The Missoula City Council raised taxes on city residents nearly six percent in the 2016 budget.
