Bob Heinle

On February 12, 2010, retired MPD Sergeant Robert Heinle passed away unexpectedly due to complications from being shot in the line of duty on October 21, 1998.

MPD Public Information Officer Travis Welsh asks that the public keep Heinle in mind and remember the sacrifice he made for our community.

Mark Muir will be retiring as Missoula's Chief of Police on December 20 after a 22 year career in law enforcement.
