Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Drugs and Firearms Discovery
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On August 14, 2025, Missoula Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of the 800 block of Crestmont. Dispatch advised that a 911 caller reported a gray Honda with temporary registration was parked nearby and there was suspected drug activity occurring. An officer arrived on scene, observed the vehicle, exited his patrol vehicle on foot, and observed a male in the driver’s seat and a female in the passenger’s seat.
The officer observed the male holding a red straw and a small piece of foil with melted residue as he approached. The officer knocked on the door and the male immediately dropped the items. Both the male and female were instructed to exit the vehicle.
The female was identified as 46-year-old Kahma Wratislaw. Kahma is known to law enforcement for drug-related activity. Another officer looked into the vehicle and observed tooter straws, foil, a rubber hose, firearm accessories, and ammunition.

Consent was Given to Search the Vehicle
Kahma advised the car was hers, which was verified by dispatch. Kahma gave officers permission to enter her vehicle and retrieve the firearm. Then Kahma consented to her vehicle being searched.
During the search, an officer located a clear Ziplock baggie containing a large amount of a white powdery substance in the center console. In the same area, a smaller baggie containing a single pressed white powder rock was located.
Then the officer searched the passenger’s seat where Kahma was sitting. The officer located a box of ammunition on the passenger side floor. There was a black zippered pouch resembling a makeup bag directly beneath where Kahma was seated. The bag contained a glass pipe, a small clear baggie with residue, a straw, and another baggie containing the same white powdery substance observed earlier.
The glove compartment was searched and the officer found a semi-automatic pistol with a loaded magazine with a round chambered. The officer also found a rifle in the trunk.
She Stores “Rocks and Crystals”
Kahma was adamant that she did not know about any of the drugs in the vehicle and denied any knowledge of the contents of the makeup bag found where she was seated. When asked whether her DNA would be found on the baggies, Kahma admitted it would and then explained she uses them to store “rocks and crystals.”
According to court documents, Kahma admitted if she was drug tested, she would test positive for methamphetamine and Fentanyl. Kahma admitted the gun on the passenger floor was hers, but she was unclear on the rifle’s origin and did not discuss the pistol found in the glove box.
Both Kahma and the male were searched, but nothing of evidentiary value was found on either of them. Both were arrested. Law enforcement conducted field tests of the suspected drugs. The field tests were negative for the two baggies found in the center console. Then the contents of the baggies found in the makeup bag were field tested. Both resulted in presumptive positive tests for Fentanyl.
