The following is a press release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office:

LCSO Deputies responded to the report of suspicious activity in the Finley Point area at about 5:50 a.m. Friday.

NBC Montana said it had been reported that a suspicious vehicle was in the area with a woman outside the vehicle screaming and causing a disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies attempted to initiate a stop on the vehicle.  The suspect vehicle attempted to ram the deputies' vehicles.

The suspect vehicle was pinned by an LCSO vehicle into a retaining wall, and the driver was taken into custody.

The suspect female bit one deputy and another was injured while gaining access to her vehicle.

Both deputies have minor injuries.  The suspect was not injured as a result of the arrest, but It is believed that she may be under the influence of methamphetamine or possibly bath salts, and she has been hospitalized as a result.
