Separate Missoula Hit-And-Runs Injure Boys Riding Bikes
Authorities say two drivers injured boys riding their bikes in separate hit-and-run accidents.
The Missoulian reports that Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Andrew Novak says a 9-year-old boy was struck by a large, 1970s car with wooden paneling on Thursday.
Novak says the boy was riding his bike at about 5 p.m. at an East Missoula intersection. The car drove away after hitting him.
Novak says the boy had non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday morning, the driver of a small gray car hit an 8-year-old boy riding his bike at a city intersection.
That boy did not have any serious injuries.
