Report Graffiti Vandalism: Missoula Police Seek Public’s Help in Investigation
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On October 3, 2024, the Missoula Police Department announced that they are actively investigating multiple reports of criminal mischief involving graffiti in the area of South Russell and Playfair Park. Police Public Information Officer Whitney Bennett explains.
“We urge any individuals or businesses in the vicinity who have not yet reported damage to contact the Missoula Police Department to file a report if their property has been vandalized,” Bennett said. “While several victims have already been contacted, we want to ensure all affected parties are identified.”
If your property has been tagged with graffiti and you have not yet reported it, please contact the Missoula Police Department's non-emergency line at (406) 552-6300 to file a report.
“Reporting each case by time and location will assist in our ongoing investigation,” Bennett said. “Additionally, even if you are not a victim of the vandalism but live or work in the area and have video surveillance that may have captured any incidents or suspicious activity, we ask that you contact the non-emergency line to share that footage.”
Bennett said any evidence could play a critical role in holding those responsible accountable.
