Red Cross Month – Second Take [Part II] [AUDIO]

The Red Cross responds to nearly 70,000 disasters a year, providing shelter, food, emotional support, and other necessities to those affected.  In Montana, the Red Cross responds to a need once every 31 hours.  The American Red Cross is not a government agency, but relies on donations of time, money, and blood to do its work.

Schools and businesses may face a number of emergencies that could disrupt their operations, ranging from natural disasters such as fires and floods to outbreaks of illness such as the flu.
