Ravalli County voters like their paper ballots. But that adds some time to the counting process. This morning, we now have the final unofficial results from the Ravalli County ballots.

There was a 76 percent voter turnout in the county with 23,121 votes cast, according to Clerk and Recorder Regina Plettenberg. Over 50 percent were absentee ballots, continuing a trend that has been growing for a few elections now.

Our local results will be canvassed by the Election Board later this month.
