Pride Month History

June was officially designated Pride month in 1999 and has been celebrated in North America in a variety of ways since Stonewall in 1969. It's a way to recognize the impact that our lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community members have had in history and to give some love to this community for their valuable contributions to society.

Pride Parade

The official parade of Pride Month will be on Saturday, June 4 beginning at 1:30 p.m. on North Higgins. Construction on Bear Tracks Bridge will alter the route, stay up to date with route changes here. And submit your float application here. We're super excited to make this the most beautiful, loving, celebratory, positive experience possible and we look forward to seeing your creativity!

Volunteer

Missoula Pride will not be possible without the help of volunteers from the community like you. For as little as an hour of your time, you could be part of bringing this event to life. Volunteer responsibilities could be things like setting up and tearing down for the street party, parade coordination, greeting and hosting at the door of each event or staffing the information table. Sign up to volunteer here.
